Alternative Giving

Each year, our parish supports our Alternative Giving at Christmas project, which supports charitable programs both locally and internationally.  Your offering might become an alternative Christmas gift offered on behalf of another.  Christmas ornaments related to these five charities will be available November 29-30 with donations accepted December 6-7.

We work in underserved coastal and agricultural communities in Ghana, providing support to women and children in hard-to-reach areas that are at risk of child exploitation. CONEXIONES responds to the needs of Hispanic/Latino children in Howard County schools by providing assistance and support to encourage students to complete high school, to consider higher education opportunities, and to be successful in their career choices.  The Esperanza Center is a comprehensive resource center whose mission is to welcome immigrants by offering hope, compassionate services, and the power to improve their lives.    HopeWorks supports and advocates for people in Howard County affected by sexual and intimate partner violence and engages the community in creating the change required for violence prevention.  The Tanzanian Children’s Project supports medical, educational, and water projects in the Ushetu district of Tanzania.  They strive to improve the lives of children and the marginalized and have contributed towards the building of a new high School.
