Baby Bottle Drive

Baby Bottle Campaign sponsored by Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus are again counting on your generosity during the Baby Bottle Drive benefitting the Columbia Pregnancy Center, in their 41st year. Please pick up a Baby Bottle, and return it the weekend of March 5-6.

Father Gerry said at Mass this past weekend that he was “happy for the gracious attendance, at all 8 weekend Masses, of staff from the Pregnancy Center”. Further, he said he was “proud our parish participates eagerly in this Campaign, and the Knights of Columbus do a wonderful job”.

Three hundred and twenty bottles have already been distributed.  If you cannot attend Mass, the Knights will be happy to deliver a bottle to your doorstep and arrange to pick up next month at the close of the campaign.  Contact us by email [email protected] or text 410-913-7867.

There are four ways to participate in this Pregnancy Center campaign:

  1. Fill the bottles with coins, paper money and checks made to the Columbia Pregnancy Center, and return them the weekend of March 5-6
  2. Through our parish electronic giving site, Give Central
  3. Through the Pregnancy Center website
  4. Mail a check made out to the Columbia Pregnancy Center to the Knights of Columbus, PO Box 573, Columbia 21045

The Columbia Pregnancy Center‘s mission is to “Empower Women to Choose Life.” These are some of the services offered:

  • Bilingual Advocates trained to advise with practical and compassionate help
  • Medical services on-site including pregnancy testing, sonograms, prenatal vitamins, STI testing and treatment
  • Classes offered in various formats for all stages of pregnancy through parenting of toddlers

The Columbia Pregnancy Center not only supports women, but also men. There is a fatherhood initiative which offers mentoring and support of men to help them grow into their roles as fathers and co-providers. CPC also offers post-abortive women and men specially designed counselling programs.

CPC is a place where hope is renewed, faith is restored, and the unconditional love of God is revealed. Almost half of CPC’s annual budget comes from fundraisers such as this one.
