Prayer Partner Program

The Sister Parish Partnership Committee is organizing a Prayer Partner Program with our sister Parish, St. Bernardine’s Catholic Church in Baltimore.

This program will take place during the Easter Season, for 7 weeks, beginning April 17 through June 5.

The prayer partners will talk on the phone and pray together once a week on a day and time that is convenient to them.

Two men praying together

The prayer partners can conduct their prayer time together however they want, by sharing conversations about faith, praying for each others’ family and special concerns, sharing ideas about prayer, and whatever makes their time together meaningful and helps them to grow in Christ.

Praying with others amplifies our prayers. Jesus wants us to pray together, and He taught that prayer is more powerful when prayed by more than just ourselves.

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:19-20 NIV

Praying with someone else can be instrumental for our prayers. A commitment to grow in Christ, through conversation and prayer, is the makings of a beautiful prayer partnership.

The Sister Parish Committee would love to have you join us in this prayer program. Prayerfully think about it. Members of the Committee will be in the lobby after Mass to take your information and answer any questions if you would like to become a prayer partner. Thank you!
