St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church unfolds a new evangelization plan to embrace and welcome all God’s people and celebrate our blessings as a multi-racial/cultural family

This will be a highly spiritually-packed revival and renewal event for all of our parishioners, visitors, and neighbors.

Bring your friends, and come encounter God through holy actions, words, sacraments, and God-in-us.

Bishop Lewandowski has served as the pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus/Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.   His emphasis on community and inclusion has made him a leading advocate for immigrants’ rights. Bishop Lewandowski serves as Archbishop William E. Lori’s vicar for Hispanic Ministry.

Fr. Joe is the previous Pastor of St. Matthew Church which has a community made up of people from over 40 different countries. The Church also established an Immigration Center to help people with political asylum, status adjustment, and family reunification.

Weather permitting, the 4:00 pm Mass on Saturday, September 11 will be outdoors (in the parking lot of the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center). Please bring a chair, and wear a mask. We are encouraging you to wear the fashions of your heritage as well in celebration of our diversity.
