It reveals the amazing details and events in Padre Pio’s life as a boy and throughout his fifty years as a friar, dramatizing the frequent attacks from the devil, as well as the persecution he suffered at the hands of people, including those in the Church.

09.07.25 On Sunday, Pope Leo will canonize two young people into Sainthood. You may have heard Carlo Acutis, the young boy from Milan— the sneaker-wearing, computer-loving “gamer saint” of our time. But beyond the headlines and hashtags, the real story of Carlo is something deeper, something the world desperately needs to hear. Known for his deep love of God, devotion to the Eucharist, and quiet acts of charity, Carlo’s life was a testament to everyday holiness.
You might have also heard of Pier Giorgio Frassati. He was a handsome, athletic and fun-loving young man from a rich, aristocratic Italian family who turned from a life of privilege to one devoted to working with the poor, suffering and homeless, and was a courageous witness of Christian faith and charity to many others. An avid mountain climber, Frassati exemplified a great love for life, nature and humanity. He was a leader of youth in Italy in Catholic social justice and charitable organizations, and is the patron saint of World Youth Days. He died of the polio virus at the age of 24.

08.24.25 Auschwitz, 1941. One of the prisoners, Jan, escapes from the German concentration camp while working at a gravel pit. Thanks to the help of kind-hearted people, he finds shelter. There Jan hears tragic news about ten random inmates sentenced by the Nazis to death by starvation as a punishment for his escape. One among the convicts is Fr. Nos inspiramos en las palabras de Juan Pablo II en su visita a Chile 1987 cuando en una misa celebrada en La Serena, al norte del país, con los bailes religiosos provenientes de Andacollo, Sotaquí, Copiapó, La Tirana, entre otros lugares, dijo en su homilía que la piedad popular «es un verdadero tesoro del Pueblo de Dios”.
