Celebrating a wedding anniversary is much more than marking the passage of time since a couple said “I do.” It’s a time to honor a sacred promise, to rekindle the fire of deep love, and to celebrate the resilience of a commitment that binds two souls together in a beautiful bond. Each anniversary, be it the first or the golden jubilee, is an unforgettable milestone, a time for reflection, a moment to express gratitude, and an opportunity to turn to the heavens in prayer.
At the end of each month, we invite couples who have celebrated their wedding anniversary that month to present themselves after communion for recognition from the community as well as a special blessing. Please RSVP your participation by sending an e-mail to scott.miller@sjerc.org with the following information:
> Which Mass will you be attending?
> The full names of the anniversary couple
> How many years have you been married?
For Masses on November 29 30, please respond no later than November 25.
Celebrar un aniversario de boda es mucho más que marcar el paso del tiempo desde que una pareja se dio el “sí, quiero”. Es el momento de honrar una promesa sagrada, de reavivar el fuego de un amor profundo y de celebrar la resistencia de un compromiso que une a dos almas en un hermoso vínculo. Cada aniversario, ya sea el primero o las bodas de oro, es un hito inolvidable, un tiempo para la reflexión, un momento para expresar gratitud y una oportunidad para dirigirse al cielo en oración.
Al final de cada mes, invitamos a las parejas que han celebrado su aniversario de boda ese mes a presentarse después de la comunión para recibir el reconocimiento de la comunidad, así como una bendición especial.
